About Us

Purchased in 1980 by Avant Ministries, Springs of Life Camp was a former farm which has been renovated into a modern camp and conference center. The 88-acre site is located 25 miles north of Malaga. Nestled between the mountains, 2/3 of the property is planted with pine trees. Manantiales de Vida, the Spanish name for the camp, was named for the five underground water springs on the property, coupled with the spiritual significance of the “living water” found in Jesus Christ. Each year around 3000 people enjoy the refreshing atmosphere of the camp.

Glenn and Sue Ashcraft arrived in Spain in 1985 with Avant Ministries. After serving on a church planting team in Malaga, they moved to the camp in 1997. Glenn is the camp director and Sue the bookkeeper.

Fernando Clos Campos and Cristina Rojas are from Algeciras, Spain. They were employed at another Christian camp in Spain before coming on staff at Springs of Life in 2003. Fernando is the maintenance man.
